In thirty-one days, on February the fourteenth, it will be Ystävänpäivä (the Finnish word for friendship), and thus Friendship Day. If that date sounds familiar, that's because its the same day that many folks celebrate Valentine's Day, which traditionally commemorates the celebration between loved ones. Ystävänpäivä, however, is about remembering friends, which is always a lovely thing to do, and the time to think about how you might do this is now. As you may know, I have all occasion cards that are perfect for expressing appreciation, and they can be viewed on my web-site, where purchase information is available. However, if you also want to include friendship gifts, I highly recommend the beautiful handmade (from all natural materials) journals and notebooks sold by Helen, at Gifts by Helen, where she also sells an array of hand-painted "cat rocks" (which can be custom made). The video posted above is just a small sampling of her offerings and you may view it on Vimeo by clicking on this link.
