Cheers! Here's wishing you a delightful Halloween, dear reader! This past Saturday's snow-slush-ice storm that hit New York City, where I live, could not even put a damper on this fun-loving day, although some of the pumpkins which are in my urban terrace garden, such as the little guy to the right, as well as the little guy posted directly below, were not too pleased at being caught without hats as they got doused with the slushy stuff, and, they did make their feelings about being topless, in this unexpected snowy situation known, by having their viewpoints posted on nybg's (New York Botanical Gardens) tumblr as well as Flickr. You may access links to these entries by clicking here as well as here respectively, and then, in the latter, clicking on the set named trick or treat.
For me, no matter what the weather is, one of the ways to insure a smile for this holiday is to watch, "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown", and thanks to a "posting" on You Tube (seen below), I can share this treat with you. Hope you enjoy it.
THAT'S IT FOR TODAY, BUT, I'd like to hear your thoughts upon seeing this "famous" cartoon clip, as well as how you plan to spend Halloween. Please share your reactions to this clip, your Halloween plans, or Halloween memories in the "comments field" below. If you are new to posting this type of thing, you may click here for directions.
